*ahem* sorry for the tirade. My irritation for that crap reached it's peak and then I see this. Thank you for posting this. You Rock!
I'll agree that a low quality CAM shot of a vagina isn't art. (I've been seeing postings of some really weird photographs, like girls flashing their webcams on here, photosets that look like something from SG, or GG, or BB/GS, etc. Some are even incredibly graphic, with sex acts occurring. Those I report, because they are going too far. The others I request at least have a mature warning tag.)
BUT, if it is an artistic rendering, in paint, charcoal, oil pastels, CG, etc - I consider that art.
Even a well-done, expressive shot depicing a vagina/vulva is art for me. But low quality is just plain porny.
A lot of planning goes into good nude art and in the end it doesn't matter what part of the body is shown, it all looks beautiful.
So in my opinion, vaginas can be art if done correctly and professionally.
